Silvio Campanaro is a composer, multi-instrumentalist and educator. He is currently a senior at Berklee Online in the Music Composition for Film, TV and Games program. His music for media and research essays on music history and film music have been featured in the Berklee Showcase for outstanding excellence in scoring to picture and writing. While he enjoys writing for orchestra, he tries to pull in influences from World Music, Jazz, Prog and Yacht Rock into his work as composer for stand alone music or when writing to picture.
As an active performer, he has been able to play guitar and saxophone in musicals at St. Clair and through Arts Collective Theatre. He maintains a busy gigging schedule as solo saxophonist for weddings, restaurants and other private events playing jazz, pop and Brazilian Music. He performs as a pianist in wedding ceremonies and continues to teach approximately 25 students a week.
