Ruth Wiebe ( BMus. Ed.;  AMM (Western Board of Music) has been teaching violin at Académie Ste-Cécile for over 20 years. She studied both violin and piano at Brandon University. Over the years, she has gleaned many pedagogical ideas from participating in several Suzuki Violin Units.  She enjoys helping all ages express their musical ideas on the violin; she regularly accompanies her students on the piano during their performances. She prepares her students for participating in various festivals and RCM exams.  She is a member of SAA  (Suzuki Association of the America’s) and ORMTA. Along with her cellist husband, Peter, she regularly plays at weddings and other functions.
