She holds an Honours Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance and also a Bachelor’s of Education from the University of Windsor. Miriam has been teaching piano at Académie Ste-Cécile since 2009.
Miriam understands that each child is unique, and aims to make each lesson suit the student’s learning style. Lessons incorporate a range of musical styles, genres, theory, games and technology. Many of her students have gone on to complete Royal Conservatory of Music (RCM) exams with excellent results in both piano and theory. She also encourages her students to perform in the Windsor Kiwanis Music Festival and in many other performance opportunities in the community.
Miriam’s goal is to instill a love of great music within her students, and to give them the musical tools so they may continue playing and enjoying music for their whole lives.
