Linda is a classically trained pianist from London, ON where she studied under Tina Yanchus-Hibbard and received her ARCT at a young age. She has been teaching privately for over 18 years in homes and previously taught within four schools on the Huron-Perth Catholic District School Board and one on the Avon Maitland School Board.
Ms. Jung follows the Royal Conservatory Syllabus as a benchmark but appreciates all genres of music and encourages students to attend live local performances. She tries to guide students in the direction of music they seem to enjoy and wants them to play what they want to, in conjunction with their classical training. Her participating students achieve First Class Honours on their RCM exams and place well in Kiwanis and Rotary Music Festivals. Two of her students were invited to the Provincial Virtual Competition in May 2021 and a remote student received 99% on his RCM level 5 theory in August 2021.
Even with a background in business Linda chooses to teach piano. She is energetic, has experience teaching students with special needs and teaches all levels ranging from beginner to advanced. She is the Marketing Coordinator at Académie Ste-Cécile International School and has recently taken on the role as the Music School Coordinator. Theory is incorporated into each lesson and multiple recitals are held each year. Linda speaks Korean fluently and relocated to Windsor in July 2019.
