“During my 29 years of teaching as a Music Teacher in both Ukraine and Canada, (in Canada since 2004,) I realized that every child is unique and in order to accomplish my task as an Educator, I had to find a careful approach to each student, one that was based on the student’s personality and ability.“ Iryna Kior.
After receiving a referral from Dr. Adamson (Head of Windsor University Music Department), Iryna has worked at Ste-Cécile since 2004. Iryna has had many of her students participate in the Kiwanis Music Festival and also in the Ste-Cécile Music Festival. Many of her students have achieved a very high level of success in these Music Festivals. Iryna is currently teaching all levels from beginner to Grade 8. Her students also perform in various recitals during holiday seasons. All of her students greatly enjoy participating in the two recitals which Iryna organizes every year for her students: Christmas and year-end. As well, her students’ parents enjoy watching and appreciating the progress of their children in music.
