Varshini Ravicoumar

Miss. Ravicoumar is a passionate violinist committed to providing students with the highest quality of Carnatic music education integrating with performance skills. She received her Bachelor of Technology, specializes in playing and teaching Carnatic music and has recently been accepted at University of Windsor to pursue her Masters in Engineering.

She was awarded ‘Top 10 Women of Puducherry’ for the exemplary work in music on International Women’s Day 2022; received CCRT scholarships from the Ministry of Cultural Resources (1/200 in all of India); won first prize in solo instrumental in the youth festival hosted by the government of Puducherry (2020); was awarded Kalaisemmal virudhu for her contribution in the field of music (2016) among many prizes she received for solo instrumental during her inter and intra college competitions.

Miss. Ravicoumar is excited to share her expertise in Carnatic music at Ste-Cécile Music Academy and will be teaching group lessons in this discipline.
