Aimee Clifford
Aimee Clifford is a Southwestern Ontario based soprano with over two decades of performing experience. With a love for music that was sparked in early childhood, Aimee has become an active instructor and performer in both Windsor-Essex and Chatham-Kent. Previous engagements include St. Andrew’s Church (Chatham-Kent), Art Song Lab (Vancouver), Windsor Symphony Orchestra, Kordazone Theater (Windsor-Essex), and Theater Kent.
In November 2020, Aimee had the privilege of premiering the song “A Rose Blown Open” at the Vancouver Songslam in a completely virtual format and was awarded third prize alongside composer Matthew Tozer, pianist Kaito Cheung, and poet Felicia Klingenberg.
Comfortable and experienced in classical music, art song, popular music, jazz, musical theatre, and traditional church music, Aimee believes in working with every individual voice and student to develop a unique, age appropriate, engaging and challenging collection of repertoire to empower and inform the young performer in their vocal development. When not singing or teaching, Aimee enjoys reading, gardening, and cooking.
